Seedream 5.0 is the latest generation of ByteDance's Seedream image models, developed by its Seed team. It handles both text-to-image and reference-based editing, and it is notably good at Chinese as well as English text inside images — useful for posters and packaging aimed at Chinese-speaking audiences.
ImgAI offers two versions. Seedream 5.0 Pro is tuned for quality — film-like lighting and fine detail — at 1K, 1.5K or 2K with up to 10 reference images. Seedream 5.0 Lite outputs 2K, 3K or 4K at one flat price and accepts up to 14 reference images. Across both, an image costs 45–85 credits.
