Acceptable Use Policy
ImgAI (imgai.ai) content standards, moderation, reporting, and enforcement for AI image and video generation.
Last updated: 2026-09-15
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") applies to ImgAI at https://imgai.ai. Last updated: 15 September 2026.
ImgAI ("ImgAI", "we", "us", or the "Service") provides AI image and video generation and related tools. This Policy sets content standards, moderation, reporting, and enforcement. Using the Service means you agree to this Policy and to our Terms of Service.
1. Scope
This Policy covers content generated, edited, uploaded, stored, or published through the Service, including:
- Images: AI-generated or edited pictures, illustrations, and composites.
- Video: AI-generated or edited video.
- Inputs: prompts, instructions, reference images, and uploads.
- Public works: content you choose to publish on public pages of the Service.
The Service is operated under the ImgAI brand. We do not present any third-party model's name or logo as our own brand. Outputs are AI-generated and are not endorsed by model providers.
2. Content standards and prohibited categories
You may not use the Service to generate any of the following:
- Pornography / NSFW content.
- Violent / gory content.
- Hate speech.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and other child-unsafe content.
- Deepfakes / impersonation.
- Copyright or trademark infringement.
2.1 Zero tolerance
The following is removed as soon as we find it. We may also report it to authorities:
- CSAM or any sexual content involving minors.
- Content that promotes or assists terrorism, extremism, or mass violence.
- Instructions for producing weapons of mass destruction.
- Content that incites genocide or ethnic hatred.
- Non-consensual sexual deepfakes of real people, and other deepfakes intended to mislead about identity or origin.
- Pornography / NSFW content (this is an image and video product; we do not offer an adult-content track).
- Violence / gore: imagery whose purpose is bloodshed, mutilation, or torture.
- Hate speech: attacks on or demeaning of groups by race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
- Copyright / trademark infringement: reproducing protected characters, works, or brand marks without authorization.
2.2 Restricted — may be blocked
Even if it is not listed in 2.1, the following may be blocked or removed:
- Political or current-affairs synthetics that could mislead the public.
- Medical, legal, or financial advice, or presenting outputs as the work of a licensed professional.
- Graphic violence, even in a purported creative context.
2.3 Other prohibited conduct
- Generating or spreading false information.
- Impersonating a real person, brand, or institution.
- Infringing intellectual-property, publicity, or privacy rights.
- Passing AI content off as human-made in order to deceive.
- Bulk spam or fraudulent content.
- Jailbreak prompts intended to bypass safety systems.
- Conduct listed in Section 10.3 of the Terms of Service, including using outputs to train a competing model or scraping outputs at scale.
3. Moderation
We combine provider safety filters with human handling of reports. We do not deliver raw model output that has not gone through those safety systems.
3.1 Automated checks
- Inputs: prompts, reference images, and uploads are subject to the underlying model providers' safety filters when you submit a generation.
- Outputs: results are also subject to provider safety review — for example Google RAI filtering and other vendors' content-policy blocks.
- What we do: if a provider rejects a request on content-policy grounds, that generation fails, credits are refunded, and we do not retry the same request on another route.
- Safety systems used: the moderation and safety systems of the underlying model providers (including Google, OpenAI, and other vendors we integrate). We have a first-party moderation hook before submit; the enforcement line in production today is provider-side review.
3.2 Human review
- Reports from users are reviewed by a person.
- Provider blocks and reports may go to human review.
- We do not claim a 24/7 dedicated trust-and-safety shift. Timelines are in Section 6.
3.3 Sampling
We periodically review blocked and reported cases to improve the process. We do not currently commission a third-party audit of content moderation.
3.4 Severity levels
- L1 severe: child safety, terrorism, weapons of mass destruction, non-consensual sexual deepfakes. Auto-block, human confirm if needed; immediate ban and possible report to authorities.
- L2 high: other serious violations (including NSFW, extreme violence, hate). Priority review; take down and possible account suspension.
- L3 medium: ordinary violations. Human review; warning or removal.
- L4 low: minor or borderline issues, usually from a report; warning or a request to change the content.
4. Reporting
4.1 When to report
- Content or conduct that violates this Policy.
- Child-safety or terrorism issues.
- AI impersonation or infringement of your rights.
4.2 Principles
- Confidentiality: we keep reporters' identities confidential to the extent the law allows.
- Neutrality: we review against this Policy, without a predetermined outcome.
- Abuse: malicious or clearly false reports are logged and may lead to limits on reporting.
5. How to report
Email a description, links, or screenshots to support@imgai.ai. That is the only staffed public channel. For child-safety or other urgent illegal activity, put "Urgent / child safety" in the subject and also contact local law enforcement.
6. Response times
These are business-day targets from when we have enough information. If we need more time, we will try to say why.
- L1: first response within 24 hours; action within 48 hours.
- L2: first response within 1 business day; action within 3 business days.
- L3: first response within 3 business days; action within 7 business days.
- L4: first response within 5 business days; action within 15 business days.
Flow: report received → grade (L1–L4) → review → action → notify when we can reach you.
7. Enforcement
We only list actions we can actually take:
- Warning: first minor violation.
- Block or remove: refuse generation, delete or take down violating content (including public works).
- Feature limits: lower quotas or restrict models or scenarios.
- Suspend account: L2 or repeated violations, pending review.
- Close account permanently: L1 or repeated L2; data handling follows the Terms of Service.
- Report to law enforcement: illegal L1.
Accounts closed for violating this Policy are generally not refunded, as in Section 7.6 of the Terms of Service.
8. Appeals
If you disagree with an action, email support@imgai.ai within 14 days of notice. Use the subject "Appeal" and include your account email and reasons. We will review within 10 business days. Where staffing allows, someone who did not make the original decision will review it.
9. Changes
Material changes will be announced at least 14 days in advance on the site or by email to your registered address, and we will update the date on this page. Continued use is acceptance of the updated Policy.
